Updates and deadlines
The shortest route to what is happening, what closes next and where to check the official record.
This is the website's main dates page. Other pages point here so that changing deadlines are not repeated across the site.
New: October community calendar
The new monthly calendar brings consultations, deadlines, community meetings, markets, local events, safety information and useful actions into one dated resource. Its companion guide includes fuller information and clickable source links.
The calendar is a dated public-information resource. This Updates page remains the main route for changing formal deadlines and submission instructions.
Next dates
Monday 5 October: Aultmore and Glen Earrach Additional Information representation deadlines.
Thursday 8 October: Beauly–Peterhead agricultural-operations Additional Environmental Information deadline.
Always open the official source immediately before submitting. Dates and case procedures can change.
Current dates
Confirmed on current ECU representation search
Aultmore — Additional Information consultation
The ECU representation search lists 5 October for Aultmore Wind Farm Redesign, reference ECU00003365. Vattenfall states that its Additional Information is open for consultation through ECU until that date. The Indicative Grid Route Appraisal still requires document-level campaign review; no unverified connection to Strathbogie or the Beauly–Peterhead line should be assumed.
Send to: Scottish Ministers through the Energy Consents Unit. How: use the Action route beside Aultmore in the ECU representation search and quote ECU00003365.
The ECU representation search lists this closing date for Glen Earrach Pumped Storage Hydro, reference ECU00005121. The September Additional Information package is present on the ECU register. Glen Earrach Energy's description of the new material remains the developer's account; campaign review of the underlying documents is continuing.
Send to: Scottish Ministers. How: use the ECU route, identify the proposal and grounds for the representation, and quote ECU00005121.
The applicant's public notice states that Additional Environmental Information on agricultural operations has been submitted and that representations should be received no later than this date. Previous representations remain valid. The DPEA case page confirms that the material has been lodged; the notice is evidence of the procedure, not independent verification of the applicant's assessment.
Send to: Scottish Ministers through DPEA. How: follow the notice on the DPEA case register or contact the case team at DPEA-Beauly-Peterhead400kVOHL@scot.gov.uk. Quote TRL-270-2.
SSEN says written feedback on the current landfall consultation is open until this date. Boyne Bay and Boyndie Bay remain landfall options after Sandend was discounted; the preferred landfall, mainland route and Strathbogie Hub site are still in development.
Send to: SSEN Transmission through the feedback route on its Shetland 2 project page. Keep a dated copy of what you submit. Feedback to SSEN is not the same as a statutory representation to ECU or DPEA.
These items remain here briefly as a dated record. They are no longer presented as open action routes.

Campaign questions: these are matters SDV is asking about; they are not findings by the developer, DPEA or Scottish Ministers.
